*Month of May - May altar and family rosary* Friday is the 1st of May and the start of the month honouring Our Lady in a special way. Many Irish bishops are encouraging families to set up a May altar in their home. In a letter published by Pope Francis last Saturday he says: "I want to encourage everyone to rediscover the beauty of praying the Rosary at home in the month of May". He has added two prayers to the traditional rosary which he encourages us to say together. See link here for the text of these prayers.
